Jambalaya Writers' Conference 2017

This weekend I met some awesome people at the Jambalaya conference in Houma. First of all, I need to take a second to say how GORGEOUS the library was. We're talking glass/water feature wall leading to the children's section, tall ceilings, smartboards in almost every classroom/gathering space. I was so enthralled (I've always loved libraries. Shocker, right?) that I completely forgot to take pictures. The only one I have is a picture someone snapped of me after my presentation about using audiobooks to improve your writer craft and boost your readership.

I guess that just means that you'll have to travel out there to see it for yourself, or I'll have to go back sometime soon to grab a pic.
