Authors Love Reviews

Authors love reviews. Even authors who hate reviews love reviews, and don't let them tell you otherwise.

You see, reviews mean that people are not only reading your book, but they are reading your book and thinking about it enough to inspire them to actually write about it. Having your writing move people to the point where they themselves are moved to write is kind of a big deal. It almost doesn’t matter what star rating the reviewer gives, because the fact that they were willing to review means that—good or bad—the reviewer went all in.

The lovely review below is a prime example. It is not the highest rating that I’ve ever received, but I’d take one of these over ten 5-star ratings any day.
