Who am I?

 

I am a mama who spends most of my time raising one artist kid and one scientist, though which is which depends on the day. 13 years as a classroom teacher makes me a huge fan of kids and books.  I try to hang out with both as much as possible.

 

I live in New Orleans with my husband, my daughter, my son, our two-toned gray cat named Gris-Gris (get it?), and a guinea pig whose name changes almost daily. The earthly remains of Oscar the fish may or may not still be in the freezer.
