​Why, you ask, am I readying legions of pre-cut paper dolls? For the Ruby Bridges Reading Festival at the National Civil Rights Museum this Saturday. I’ll be there signing copies of Jupiter Storm and giving away these beauties designed by Stephanie Parcus to the kids who seem most excited. Or shyest. Or most bookish. Or who ask the most questions. Or...

And—don’t quote me on this—there might also be mermaid stickers, and the Littlest J and I may or may not have already been testing them out. 😀
